1. MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate)
MTA certifications are a great place to start if you would like to get into the technology field. MTA certifications address a wide spectrum of fundamental technical concepts, assess and validate core technical knowledge, and enhance technical credibility. Note: MTA exams do not qualify for MCP certification, nor are they a prerequisite for MCSA or MCSD certification.

STEP3: COMPLETION
Completed one MTA for every exam you pass in step 2.
STEP4: CONTINUINING EDUCATION
Earn an MCSA or MCSD certification to broaden your expertise.
2. MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate)
This certification validates your extract, transform, and load (ETL) and data warehouse skills, along with those for implementing BI solutions using multidimensional and tabular data models and online analytical processing (OLAP) cubes.

Pass one of the following exams

Earn an MCSE certification to broaden your expertise.
3. MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
Demonstrate your broad skill sets in SQL administration, building enterprise-scale data solutions, and leveraging business intelligence data – both on-premises and in cloud environments.
